Rafał Niziołek

Rafal Niziołek, DVM,  graduated as a veterinarian in 1996 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Immediately after graduation took a job in the 24 hours veterinary clinic in Warsaw, and after 5 years he started his own practice, specializing in the field of cardio-respiratory diseases. For 4 years, starting from 2010, he led cardiology consultation at the Clinic for Small Animals Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Warsaw. In 2012, he opened a specialist veterinary clinic  Vetcardia, targeted on consultations on cardio-respiratory cases. His huge knowledge, dr Rafal Niziołek owes conscientious work, many specialized courses and foreign practices. He took part in the following training courses organized by ESAVC: veterinary cardiology, advanced veterinary cardiology, echocardiography, advanced echocardiography and veterinary emergencies and intensive therapy (stage I-II). He practiced in numerous foreign veterinary clinics, such as the Royal Veterinary College - Edinburgh, Tierklinik Vetsuisse Faculty University - Bern, Cabinet Veterinaire Amberger-Philip - Geneve or the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences - Faculty Of Veterinary Medicine - Uppsala. In addition, he is a member of the European Association of Veterinary Cardiology (ESVC) and the International Association of Veterinary Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care (IVECCS), as well as a consultant of cardiac issues in Boehringer Ingelheim. Since 2000 he has been teaching on cardiology and emergency medicine at postgraduate studies for veterinarians. He is in the process of writing a dissertation on heart disease of ferrets. In the polish veterinary journals, you can find more than 40 articles, which he is the author or co-author. Dr Rafal Niziołek is a person willingly invited for conferences and meetings as a lecturer, both in Poland and abroad. Particular interest of dr Rafał Niziołek is a cardiology of cats (HCM, genetic), sepsis, and emergency cardiac and respiratory system cases, as well as the method of CPCR.
