Agnieszka Noszczyk-Nowak

Agnieszka Noszczyk-Nowak received a diploma in veterinary medicine in 2003 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural University of Wroclaw. Immediately after graduation she began doctoral studies in the Department of Internal Diseases Clinic of Horses, Dogs and Cats. Doctoral thesis, about intracardiac conduction disturbances in hyperthyroidism, she defended in 2006 and since then she is an academic in the Department of Internal Medicine.In January 2013 she received a postdoctoral degree, and the subject of her research were new biochemical markers and electrocardiograms, which can be applied in assessing the prognosis of dogs with heart disease.From years she is leading trainings for veterinarians about veterinary cardiology, and especially in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias dogs and cats. Many times she lectured at national and international conferences, as well as a part of the specialization studies in the field of Disease of Dogs and Cats, also led workshops with electrocardiography.She is an active veterinarian, every day reciving animals with cardiac problems in Specialized Laboratory of the Cardiology Department of Internal Medicine Clinic of Horses, Dogs and Cats UP Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Wroclaw. She is a member of the Heart Rhythm Disorders Section of the Polish Society of Cardiology and the European Society of Veterinary Cardiology (ESVC).
