The theme for 2011 is "Sustainability in Veterinary Practice".
We hope that a careful examinination of the preliminary programme will encourage you to include the Voorjaarsdagen conference in your (undoubtedly busy) diary!

Over the past 44 years, Voorjaarsdagen has become a prestigious conference drawing international speakers of the highest calibre. As veterinarians, we are responsible for animal well-being and form an important link in society. In order to be heard, we must speak with a unified voice, and this can only be achieved if we meet regularly at conferences, like Voorjaarsdagen, to learn, to improve ourselves and to discuss all aspects relating to the profession, with our colleagues.

The Companion Animal Conference, the Equine Conference and the Technicians' Programme will all run in a series of parallel sessions. The exhibition floor, renowned for its variety of presentations and the excellent warm lunches, will be more exciting than ever, as more and more sponsors have been found willing to promote their businesses, to you. As a special feature, this year, there will be an exciting Voorjaarsdagen party, open to all conference visitors.

An important note to the 44th edition of Voorjaarsdagen is that the 2011 conference will be held on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 April, with a preconference day on Tuesday 26.
As a result, you will have the opportunity to experience Queen's Night in Amsterdam, immediately following the conference, on Saturday 30 April.
